Travel through time… to the rhythm of the tramway
Life is gentle on the coast: walking, eating, resting... in short, letting yourself drift with time! Enjoy a picnic in the dunes, rent a deckchair and a parasol from André, Paul or Jean, take a ride in a cuistax, eat a cream-filled “Berliner” (always too much cream!), play a round of mini-golf or visit the funfair. And then there’s the coastal tram, gliding between dunes and seawalls along 65 kilometres of nearly straight coastline, bordered by beautiful, almost uninterrupted sandy beaches. It connects the thirteen seaside resorts – true little paradises, cherished all year round. So it’s only natural that we invite you on board the tram, from De Panne to Knokke, to explore forgotten and hidden places. As we wander through time, we’ll stroll through the “Dumont” district in De Panne, the heart of the “Belle Époque” quarter in Blankenberge, or the lively fish market area in Ostend. This beautiful story is our story – 125 years of encounters, discoveries and shared passion.

Usually dedicated to heritage, landscapes and transport, Kozo Édition here opens an artistic parenthesis in the universe of Alain M. From his photographs of the Belgian coastline, the coastal landscapes have been reinvented to give birth to scenes populated by cats, between humor, fantasy and reverie.
