Line 9 In September 2018, the new tram line 9 connecting the Simonis station to the Ballon Tree via Jette and the UZ-VUB was inaugurated. Following on from this, Bruxelles Mobilité began work on the extension of the line between the Arbre Ballon and the Roi Baudouin metro station, passing through the Cité Model, the Stadium and avenue Houba De Strooper. As of summer 2021, this extension should be put into service.
